List of Banks to Conduct State Government Business
Reserve Bank of India, Department of Government & Bank Accounts, Central Office, Mumbai has from time to time authorised the following Banks to conduct State Government Business in West Bengal.

The functions of the Finance Department are performed through 5 (five) branches, namely, Audit, Budget, Revenue, Internal Audit and Institutional Finance.

Treasuries/ Pay & Account Offices will be kept Open on 31.03.2026
Bills/ Advices related to Allotment/ Sanction orders (including JIT SPARSH) issued on 31.03.2026 and in late hours of 30.03.2026 can be received by the Treasuries/ PAOs up to 4 P.M. of 31.03.2026 only.

Head of Office shall create a Nodal Officer in HRMS to create the workflow chain in his/her office if the Head of Office desires to get himself/herself relieved of the task of creating the different levels below him/her. Nodal Officer shall be a reliable senior officer.

Benefits for Casual, Daily Rated, Contractual Workers, 2016
Conditions of engagement as well as monthly remuneration, annual increase, medical facility, leave etc. for the causal/ daily rated/ contractual workers have been improved.

Submission of Attendance Report of West Bengal Govt Employee
The concerned designated officer/ officers shall submit daily attendance report to the Addl. Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Secretary in the Secretariat Department concerned.

Amendment of Rule 177 of WBFR regarding Tenders
Subject to any special rule or order or procedure that may be prescribed by the Government in respect of a particular department, open tender shall invariably be invited for execution of works worth Rs. 1,00,000/- or more.

Child Care Leave in respect of Adopted Child
Governor has been pleased to decide to extend the Child Care Leave to the female Government Employees who legally adopted such child. All other conditions will remain same as in F.D Memo No. 9728-F(P), dated 24.10.2011 and No. 1364-F(P), dated 15.02.2012.

Inclusion of some more Critical Diseases/ Illness under WBHS
The facility shall be restricted only for the treatment of one or more diseases/ illness mentioned in the Enrolment Certificate out of the above mentioned critical diseases/ illness.
