Interest Rate on General Provident Fund (01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024)
Governor is pleased to decide that during the period from 01.10.2024 to 31.12.2024, accumulation at the credit of the subscribers to General Provident Fund shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1% (Seven point one percent) per annum.

All the Administrative Departments will arrange for opening of Deposit Accounts of all parastatal bodies under their administrative control so that all such organizations can use the Deposit Account for all their operations.
Updating of All Bank Accounts in SBMS Module in IFMS
Finance Department has decided to further extend the ambit of SBMS and include all the Bank Accounts (including those containing their own fund) of all the Parasatal bodies as stated above under the administrative control of the Government of West Bengal.
Modalities of Application, Sanction of Advance and Final Payment of Provident Fund through NGIPF Module
On receipt of the final payment authority from DPPG, WB, the PFD Admin shall disburse the final payments to the employees.
