Students residing in West Bengal above 10 years. Loan will be available for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral study in India or abroad. Students till the age of 40 years of age are eligible for the scheme.
Family pension to the son or daughter of a deceased employee (teaching or non-teaching) of Government-aided Colleges, who is suffering from any disorder or disability of mind or is physically crippled or disabled so as to render him or her unable to earn a living even after attaining the age of 25 years.
Reservation of seats shall not exceed 45% (SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10% & OBC-B-7%). Persons with disabilities will enjoy a 3% reservation in each of the categories.
