Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2016-17
Teaching and Non-Teaching Pensioners of State-aided Universities who are not eligible for ad-hoc Bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1,900/- only in lump per head.

No HELP DESK in Universities and Colleges during Admission
No HELP DESK shall be allowed to be setup by anybody/ Association/ Union/ Council, on the campus of State aided Universities and Colleges during the online admission process.

Dearness Allowance to Employees of Universities wef Jan, 2015
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the Teachers and Non-Teaching Employees of the State-Aided Universities in West Bengal including West Bengal University of Technology and Netaji Subhas Open University.

Online Admission into Under Graduate Courses for Session 2014-15
From the academic year 2014-15, admissions to all UG courses (Honours and General) in State-funded higher education institutions in West Bengal shall be through online merit-based admission system.

Governor is pleased to revise the existing tuition-fee for students admitted in the under-graduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in the private self-financing colleges in the State.

From the Academic Year 2015-16, admissions to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses (Honours and General) in West Bengal shall be through an online, merit-based admission system.

Universities will conduct On-line Admission Process, 2015-16
Admission to self-financed B. Ed./ B. P.Ed./ M.Ed./ M.P.Ed. colleges/ courses for the academic year 2015-2016 will be done by the affiliating University through centralized on-line system.

Ex-Gratia to Pensioners of State-Aided University, 2020-21
Grant of Ex-gratia payment for the Financial Year 2020-2021 to the Pensioners of all the State-aided Universities including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.
