Rules of Management of Recognized Independent Higher Secondary Institutions, 1996 is made as per Section 40 of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975.
Council is instructing all teachers and students to strictly follow the subject-wise question pattern provided in the books of sample question set and question pattern meant for Class XI and XII, published by the Council.
Subject-wise maximum page limits for Class XII books (2013-2015) and Class XI books (2014-2016) are as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biological Science – 550 pages.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has revised its fees structure to be effective from 02nd January, 2023.
All MCQ s will be clubbed under Question No. 1 and all SAQ s will be clubbed under Question No. 2 in the Question paper, irrespective of parts or topics.
This is related to the engagement of Part-time teachers [on temporary basis for one year] of various subjects in the H.S section of the H.S Institutions affiliated under the council.

Do not carry mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets including smart watch inside the examination venue except calculator having Trigonometric, Logarithmic and Exponential functions only.
Not to sanction any leave to teachers and non-teaching staff of their Institution on the dates of H.S Examination 2023 and Class XI Annual Examination 2023, except in extreme emergency cases.
