The Examination will be held in only one paper on each day from 10 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. (3 hours and 15 minutes time is allotted both for reading question paper and writing answer) except Environmental Education, Fine Arts & Crafts and Music.
Subject-wise maximum page limits for Class XII books (2013-2015) and Class XI books (2014-2016) are as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biological Science – 550 pages.
Online application for PPS (Post Publication Scrutiny) and PPR (Post Publication Review) of Higher Secondary Examination, 2017 will be accepted upto 14.06.2017.
Last date for submission of filled in form for higher secondary registration of 2014-15 academic session is extended up to 16th December 2014 with late fine.
Submission of Registration Forms along with fees and Class XI Annual Examination Fees by the Institutions to the Council. – 1st phase: 13.08.2019 to 26.08.2019. 2nd phase: 11.09.2019 to 17.09.2019.

Applications for Hindi Scholarships are invited from the students of West Bengal, who passed in 2012 the Madhyamik, the Higher Secondary or the Degree Examination.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education provides recognition to any School for 2 years only. Renewal of Recognition is mandatory and should be applied by 30th of June.
