West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education looks after the education system in 10+2. Main office at Salt Lake, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices.

Calculation of Grand Total is done by considering marks of BEST FIVE SUBJECTS INCLUDING LANGUAGES, ELECTIVE SUBJECTS AND OPTIONAL ELECTIVE SUBJECT, (if any). Overall Grade is calculated by dividing Grand total by five.

Subject teachers are being instructed to start the project work within 1st week of July, 2015 and the Heads of Institutions are being instructed to submit all the projects to the Regional Offices.

Last date of payment only against the Registration Forms already submitted through Online by the schools: 19th January, 2023. Online Checklist will be generated only after realization of payment.
An upgraded question pattern has been framed up with 80 marks in Theory and 20 marks in project, as in the other project-based subjects for Class XI and XII from 2015-16 session.
Answer scripts containing Project questions in respect of Practical Papers should be submitted to the regional office of the HS Council along with the Practical Answer Scripts, duly stitched.
Handing over of all sealed question bag(s) / packets to Venue Supervisors by Centre-in-Charge & Centre Secretary within 9:00 AM. Reporting of examinees to venue within 9:00 AM.
Instead of separate Question Papers for Part A and Part B [Question cum Answer Booklet], there will be only one integrated Question paper. So, Part A and Part B need not be attached together at the end of the examination as has been done last few years.
