West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education looks after the education system in 10+2. Main office at Salt Lake, Kolkata along with 4 regional offices.
School/HoI will have to distribute the blank forms (Annexure-F) to all concerned student beneficiaries of class-XI and collect the duly furnished formats with relevant documents for updating student specific data in BSP.
All students enrolled in class-XI in different Government/ Government Aided/ Sponsored Schools/ Madrasahs are eligible for Taruner Swapno Scheme.
SI/S will call all concerned student beneficiaries through respective HoI with all original records for verification of bank accounts.

WBCHSE has published Guideline Book to make the Semester III Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 successful with sincere and active participation of the examination personnel.

Council has decided the following fee-structure for enrolment of the students in Class XII with the Council from the academic session 2025-2026 onward under the Semester System.
Students have to select three (3) Compulsory Elective subjects & one (1) Optional Elective subject from any one of the following Sets of the subjects:
Commencement of Class of Semester I through online/ offline mode as per convenience of the institutions. From May, 2025.
10:00 am to 1:15 pm (03 hours 15 minutes) Except Health & Physical Education, Visual Arts and Music for which time will be from 10:00 am to 12.00 noon (02 hours)
