  • Village Police Volunteer under West Bengal Police

    Governor has been pleased to accord approval for creation and filling up of 3351 posts of Village Police Volunteer under West Bengal Police for deployment in Gram Panchayet areas at a daily wage of Rs. 310/- for 22 days in a month.

  • Amendments of West Bengal Rules of Business

    Promotion, facilitation and regulation of industry, trade and commerce in the State save as otherwise provided, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textiles.

  • Commission of Inquiry for Sharadha Group of Companies

    Governor is pleased to appoint a Commission of Inquiry consisting of Honble Justice Mr. Shyamal Kumar Sen for Sharadha Group of Companies to inquire into the methodology and means adopted by the said Group of Companies and such other companies involved in similar activities in the State of West Bengal.

  • Anti Corruption Branch Police Station

    Governor is pleased to specially declare the office at 9th floor, A wing, New Secretarial Building, No. 1, Kiran Sankar Roy Road, Kolkata – 700001 to be a police station named as Anti Corruption Branch Police Station.

  • Lockdown in West Bengal Extended upto 15.03.2022

    In terms of the provisions under Disaster Management Act 2005 read with West Bengal Epidemic Disease, Covid-19 Regulations 2020, restriction and relaxation measures and advisory as already in force shall stand extended up to 15/03/2022.

  • Protection of Children from Sexual Offences

    To provide for the protection of children from the offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography, while safeguarding the interests of the child at every stage of the judicial process by incorporating child-friendly mechanisms for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and speedy trial of offences through designated Special Courts.

  • Grant of Ordinary International Passport for State Government Employees

    Guidelines regarding Issuance of Identification Certificate for grant of Ordinary International Passport facilities to the officials and employees of the State Government, Semi or QuasiGovernment organisation including officers of Statutory bodies, Undertakings, Corporations, Companies, Cooperatives and institutions etc.
