West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997

Land Act

An Act to provide for the setting up of a Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in pursuance of article 323B of the Constitution of India and for the adjudication and trial by such Tribunal of disputes, claims, objections and applications relating to, or arising out of, land reforms or tenancy in land and other matters under a specified Act and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

West Bengal Estates Acquisition (Amendment) Act, 2009

Land Act

An Act to amend the West Bengal Estates Acquisition Act, 1953.

Sree Saraswaty Press Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1984

Land Act

An Act to provide for the acquisition and transfer, in the public interest, of the undertakings of Sree Saraswaty Press Limited, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Processing Fees for Mutation of Land – Clarification

Rate of processing fees for mutation of land in rural areas will be the rate as prescribed in Circular No. 398-LP dated 02.02.2017 irrespective of the fact it falls within KMDA area or not.

Processing Fees for Mutation of Land in West Bengal

Processing Fees for Commercial and industrial land is Rs. 500/- per decimal where area is up to 10 decimals and Rs. 1,000/- per decimal where area exceeds 10 decimals.

Payment of Salami in Installments by Tea Gardens

Tea Tourism

Indian Tea Association and other stakeholders have been praying for getting facility for payment of salami in instalments considering the present stressed condition of tea industry. Many tea gardens could not get the lease renewed as they could not make payment of salami in full and at a time.
