Department of a Land & Land Reforms implements land reforms. Therefore, it is essential to upgrade its capabilities for implementation of land reforms in the interest of the landless, marginal and small farmers.

Governor is pleased to allow the various departments of the State Government and the Central Government department to go in for the direct purchase of land for public purpose.

Processing fee for conversion of land from various use to ‘Water-body’ in rural areas, Municipal Area excluding KMDA area and land in KMDA areas are prescribed in the following tables.
An Act to make better provision relating to the law of landlord and tenant in respect of certain non-agricultural tenancies in West Bengal.

Order of execution issued by the Competent Court in pursuance of Will or Gift Deed. 4. Legal Heir Certificate issued by the Local Panchayat Pradhan/ Councilor of local Municipality/ Municipal Corporation/ Chairman/ Chairperson of Municipality/ Local MLA & MP.
An Act to amend the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955. industrial park or industrial hub or industrial estate or financial hub or logistic hub shall be substituted.
The land allotted to any individual/ company/ institution etc. under the policy would be transferred to them by the Government and its parastatals by way of long term lease for a period not exceeding 99 years.
Guidelines for one-time regularization of brick fields/ kilns which were set up on agricultural land on or before 1st September, 2000. Applications should be made to the District Land & Land Reforms Officer.
