Department of a Land & Land Reforms implements land reforms. Therefore, it is essential to upgrade its capabilities for implementation of land reforms in the interest of the landless, marginal and small farmers.

Direct Purchase of Land for Public purposes to ensure optimal utilisation of public funds and early implementation of important infrastructure projects like food godowns, roads, bridges etc.
To recognize and vest the forest rights and occupation in forest land in forest dwelling Scheduled Tribes and to provide for a framework for recording the forest rights so vested and the nature of evidence required for such recognition and vesting in respect of forest land.
An Act to provide for the acquisition of land in rural areas on which homestead has been constructed by any person being an agricultural labourer, an artisan or a fisherman and conferment of title to such land in favour of such person.
Rs. 10/- only shall be collected as service charge per petition under section 6(2)(b) of Information Technology Act, 2000, where Block Level Entrepreneurs (BLE) shall be engaged for providing services to citizens.
Services from Land and Land Reforms Department along with the stipulated time limit for rendering the services, the Designated Officers responsible for providing the services, the Appellate Officer and the Reviewing officer.
Time limit for disposal by the Reviewing Officer – 15 days for No Dues Certificate (Land Revenue) for all the finally published mouzas.
