Summer Vacation is declared in schools due to heat wave and prevailing situation on and from 2nd May, 2023 until further instructions except for the schools in hill areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
All the Head of the Institution are informed that Schools earmarked as Polling booth not having electricity connection either will apply for temporary or for permanent connection from W.B.S.E.D.C.L. by 14-04-14.
Mark-sheets of Part – I D.El.Ed Examination of the session 2020 – 2022 will be handed over to the heads of the respective D.El.Ed Institutes during office hours on 05.01.2023 and 09.01.2023.
Guidelines for handing over the Mark sheets and Certificates to the in-service Primary School Teachers who have not upgraded their Minimum Entry Qualifications.
All school authorities are requested to make available their school buildings to the district administration during natural calamities/ disasters like flood/ cyclone etc. for evacuation/ relief of the affected people.
It is for information to all Head of X Class High Schools recognized by the Board, all examinees of Madhyamik Pariksha (SE), 2022 and their guardian, a Control Room to be opened for smooth conduct of the said examination from 28.02.2022 till completion of Examination.
There is a situation prevailing in some Municipalities in the state where their terms have expired and the tenure of the Ward Education Committee (WECs) have expired and new WECs would be reconstituted only after the Municipal Election is completed;
AND WHEREAS, it would be possible to form the new WECs only after the Municipal Election is completed;
The Centre-in-Charge will make seating arrangements of the candidates in the centre/ venue for not more than 2 (two) candidates on a bench and will engage at least 2 (two) Invigilators for not more than 50 candidates.
Certificates of the D. El. Ed. Examination of the session 2014-2016 will be handed over to the heads of the D. El. Ed. Institutes on and from 22nd November, 2018 to 30th November, 2018.
As per provision under NCTE’s latest Regulation duration of B. Ed. programme shall be at least for a term of one academic year or two semesters. In obedience with the aforesaid norm of NCTE it has been decided that B. Ed. classes will start from 1st July every year and continue upto the last day of June next year.
