  • Availability of School Building during Natural Calamities

    All school authorities are requested to make available their school buildings to the district administration during natural calamities/ disasters like flood/ cyclone etc. for evacuation/ relief of the affected people.

  • NSOU conduct Upper Primary Teacher Training Programme

    Head of the schools will extend necessary support to NSOU to conduct the teaching practical programme of student-Teachers at their respective schools. All such teaching practical programme may be completed before Puja holidays.

  • Closing of 2 year D.El.Ed Course Session 2012-2014

    The session 2012-2014 of 2-year D.El.Ed. Course closes on 30.06.2014. The students of the session 2012-2014 of 2-year D.El.Ed. Course need not be held in the classroom from 01.07.2014.

  • Leave of Contractual Part Time Teacher

    Governor is pleased to accord sanction of 10 (ten) days casual leave and 10 (ten) days medical leave to the part time contractual teachers attached to non-Govt. Higher Secondary Schools.

  • Revised Curriculum & Syllabus of D.El.Ed. Course

    The President, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, notifies hereby the introduction of the Newly Revised Two Year D.El.Ed curriculum and syllabi from the academic session-2014-16 which starts on and from July-01, 2014.

  • Madhyamik Examination by West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling

    Madhyamik Examination, June/2014 will be conducted by the West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling during the period 21.06.2014 to 30.06.2014 in 58 different High/ Higher Secondary School venues of West Bengal.

  • Option to Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme in School

    Three months time period shall be given to switch over to Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme under the West Bengal Recognized Non-Government Educational Institutions (Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Scheme, 1981.

  • Closure of Class due to Heat Wave in June, 2014 – Amendment

    All Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Government aided and unaided schools (Primary to Higher Secondary) will remain closed from 16th June 2014 to 25th June, 2014 due to extreme hot conditions prevailing in the State and to protect school children.

  • Suspension of Class due to Extreme Heat Wave in June, 2014

    Due to extreme hot conditions prevailing in the State it has been decided that classes will remain suspended in all Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Government aided schools (Primary to Higher Secondary) from 16.06.2014 to 25.06.2014.

  • Permission for Higher Study by Teaching & Non-Teaching Staffs

    Under no circumstance the Managing Committee/Adhoc Committee/Executive Committee/Administrator of the School will allow any teacher to undergo study hampering the normal course of business of the school.
