Due to predicted severe cyclonic storm Foni likely to hit coastal areas of West Bengal and extreme hot weather conditions prevailing in the State, classes will remain suspended in all Govt., Govt. Sponsored and Non-Govt. aided schools from 3rd May, 2019 to 30th June, 2019.
Introduction of 4 (four) more optional Elective/Addl. subjects duly recommended by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, in addition to approved existing 33 (thirty three) optional Elective subjects under NVEQF programme for Madhyamik Pariksha in West Bengal, 2015.
Govt. of India has instituted an Award Called National Child Award for Exceptional abilities and who have achieved outstanding status in various fields including academics, arts, culture and sports etc.
Control Room is opened from 17.02.2014 at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and it will continue till completion of the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 in the interest of the examinees and common people as well.
Due to extreme hot weather conditions prevailing in the State it has been decided that classes will remain suspended in all Govt., Govt. Sponsored and Non-Govt. aided schools from 20.06.2018 to 30.06.2018.
The term of the Administrator of all the concerned Govt. Sponsored Schools are extended for a further period till the regular Managing Committee of all the concerned Sponsored Schools will be constituted.
As per instruction of the Higher Authority this is to inform that the HM/ TIC of all schools/ madrasahs under the justification of the South 24-pgs mandatory generate an Email ID against his/ her school.
3rd RLST, 2016 for recruitment of non-teaching staff (Group D & Clerk) in Schools to be conducted by WBCSSC which is scheduled to be held on 19.02.2017 and on 05.03.2017.
Private Publishers will procure the concerned syllabus of class X after depositing Rs. 70/- per copy in Cash Section of Nivedita Bhavan, WBBSE on and from 10.06.2015 to 25.06.2015.
