These regulations may be called the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Conduct and Discipline of Teachers and Non-teaching staff) Regulations, 2004.
Admission of Children in elementary classes shall be done through the process of lottery if number of candidates seeking admission to a class is more than the number of available seats for admission.
Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Teachers in the Govt. Aided/Sponsored Primary/Junior Basic Schools under the District Primary School Council/ Primary School Council to fill up the vacancies as mentioned below.
Grant of ex-gratia payment to the Pensioners/ family pensioners of the teaching and non-teaching employees of Non-Govt. Aided/ Sponsored Educational Institutions etc. for the year 2012.
Remaining 50% of the third installment of arrear due to ROPA Rules 2009, will be paid to the approved teaching and non-teaching employees of recognized Government Aided/ Sponsored Educational institutions and Madrashas.
Government may make necessary arrangement for providing free pre-school education for all children until they complete the age of six years to provide early childhood care and education.
If there is a primary school in the same premises of the Secondary school they are to be treated as the same unit and students of the primary school will get automatic admission to the secondary school even if they run under separate management.
No Council shall appoint teachers in primary schools within its jurisdiction beyond the number of teacher sanctioned by the State Government for the district or the subdivision as per West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules 2001.
Printers will be responsible for delivery of books to the District Project Office. Delivery of books from DPO to respective schools will be done separately by the Agency.
Postponement of election for constitution/ reconstitution of Managing Committee of the Recognised Non-Govt. (Aided & Unaided) Secondary Schools in Murshidabad District of West Bengal.
A Candidate applying for admission to the Two Year D. El. Ed. Course in an institution, recognized by the NCTE, and affiliated to the WBBPE should pass the H.S (+2) Examination.
A meeting will be held at 5th floor, Conference Room, Bikash Bhawan, Salt Lake. All District Inspectors of Schools are requested to attend the meeting personally without fail. Secretary, School Education Department has consented to chair the meeting.
