Sub: Instruction regarding issuance of OBC Certificates and extension of time-frame for issuance of such certificates.
Sir,
With reference to this department’s letter No. 6795(85)-BCW/MR-84/2010(Pt.I) dt. 10-11-2010, I am directed to state that the last date for change of OBC Certificates mentioning therein Category-A and Category-B has been extended to 31st December, 2013.
I am further directed to state that certificate issuing authority may issue fresh certificates on surrender of the original certificates by the holders or old certificates may be revalidated mentioning Category-A or Category-B. The revalidation of the old certificate is to be done by certificates issuing authority only.
The other contents of the letter mentioned above remain unchanged.
