Dear Sir,
Sub: Guideline for preparation of specification of works during estimation for different capacity DG Set.
In reference to the subject stated I would like to inform you that it has been noticed that specification of works for DG Set is being prepared differently. It has been felt that such specification should be uniform during preparation of estimate by different level of engineers.
In view of that I would like to enclose herewith a proforma for specification of works for DG Set that should be followed by all during preparation of estimates. It is to be stated here that specification of works would be prepared showing the different components part of DG Set like Engine, Alternator, AMF Panel, Acoustic Enclosure, Base Frame etc. as shown in the enclosed specification of works. Please fill up the data from the Catalogue of Manufacturer in the vacant place shown in bold letter according to the capacity of DG Set.
Moreover the terms and conditions as shown in such specification must be mentioned for procurement of genuine DG Sets from genuine source.
This should be followed by all level of engineer and to be circulated upto the level of the Junior Engineers positively.
