MEMORANDUM
Every year, 1st July is commemorated as National Doctors’ Day, being the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
This year, in order to show gratitude to the doctors, nurses, para-medical staff, police personnel and other frontline workers giving relentless service in fight against COVID-19 pandemic as well as to celebrate the National Doctors’ Day, the State Government has decided to observe 1st July, 2021 (Thursday) as a State Government holiday in all State Government Offices, Educational Institutions, Rural and Urban Bodies, other Grant-in-Aid Institutions, Boards, Corporations etc.
