NOTIFICATION
The State Government had declared holidays on 30th and 31st January, 2020 in connection with Saraswati Puja under this Department Notification No. 5962-F(P2) & 5964-F(P2) both dated 01.11.2019.
Now, it has come to notice that Saraswati Puja will also be celebrated on 29th January (Wednesday).
In view of this, the State Government has decided to declare holiday on 29th January, 2020 (Wednesday) in addition to already declared 30th and 31st January, 2020, for all State Government offices, Urban and Rural Bodies, Corporations, Undertakings, Educational institutions and other offices/ institutions under the control of the Government of West Bengal with the exception of the Offices of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata, the Collector of Stamp Revenue, Kolkata and the West Bengal State Beverages Corporation Ltd.
