Order
It has been reported that there is inundation and water logging in some of the areas of Siliguri Sub-Division (Matigara Block and urban area of Siliguri Corporation) and Jalpaiguri District (Alipurduar-I Block).
In view of the above, leave of Medical and Para-Medical personnel of Siliguri Sub-Division and Jalpaiguri District will be treated as cancelled with immediate effect under further order.
District health authorities are hereby directed to take necessary measures for the prevention and treatment of communicable diseases particularly water borne diseases. Rapid Response Medical teams may be sent to the effected areas, if required, for containment measures of the communicable diseases.
This order issues in the public interest and take immediate effect. CMOHs of the respective district are directed to send a daily report in the prescribed format.
