Post Facto Approval for Higher Study of Medical Officer is a Punishable Offence

CIRCULAR
It is observed that some Medical Officer under WBHS have prayed to the Higher Authority seeking post facto approval for undergoing Post Graduate Study/ Fellowship/ M Phill/ Certificate Course/ and related different courses which is highly irregular.
Henceforth it is directed that this type of practice ought not be entertained further more.
Due approval from the Highest Authority of the Department is mandatory before pursuing to such courses as mentioned before.
If otherwise this will be considered as punishable offence and treated as per WBSR.
All concerned are informed accordingly.
