NOTIFICATION
Sub: Creation of Cell for Monitoring of Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment
State Government has been implementing several infrastructure projects and providing enhanced budgetary support for completion of those projects in a time bound manner.
Further, to boost the sectoral infrastructure, the fund under ‘Special Incentive to States of Capital Investment to the States’ which are granted by the Government of India as 50-year interest free loan is also being utilized.
Now, henceforth, to monitor receipt of projects from the line departments, prioritize them, submit the same to Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India and ensure timely compliance of mandatory and incidental conditions for release of such funds, formation of a Cell under the Finance Department for Monitoring of Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment has been felt necessary.
In this regard, Governor is pleased to form a cell for monitoring the projects implemented under Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment, under the Finance Department with the following members:
