NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the power conferred by clause (g), clause (f), and clause (i) of sub-section (2) of section 40, read with clause (gg) of section 2. section 4, section 11C, section 11E, section 11F and section III of the West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950 (West Ben. Act XVIII of 1950), the Governor is pleased hereby to make, with immediate effect, the following amendments in the West Bengal Fire Services (Fire Prevention and Fire Safety) Rules, 2003, issued with this Department notification No. 251/DS/FS/O/C-1/F1A-3/96 (Part – II), dated the 17th June, 2003, as subsequently amended (hereafter referred to as the said rules):-
Amendments
In Table of Schedule to the said rules,-
(1) for the entry in column (3) against Group ‘A’ of high-risk building mentioned in column (1), substitute the following entry in column (3):-
“Rs. 4.35/- per sq. mtr. of the floor area of the building;”;
(2) for the entry in column (3) against Group ‘B’ of high-risk building mentioned in column (1), substitute the following entry in column (3):-
“Rs. 6.52/- per sq. mtr. of the floor area of the building”;
(3) for the entry in column (3) against Group ‘C’ of high-risk building mentioned in column (1), substitute the following entry in column (3):-
“Rs. 8.7/- per sq. mtr. of the floor area of the building”;
(4) for the entry in column (3) against Group ‘D’ of high-risk building mentioned in column (1), substitute the following entry in column (3):-
“Rs. 13.05/- per sq. mtr. of the floor area of the building”.
