Sub:- Request for opening of office on holidays for serviceing of appointment letter of polling personnel.
D/Sir,
You are certainly aware of the fact that Lok Sabha General Election, 2014 in respect of Election district North 24 Parganas is schedule to be held on 12 May, ’14. For Poll duties, counting duties & Others Election related duties, a huge number of employees will be deployed in 5 (five) nos. of Parliamentary Constituencies of this Election district. Mention is made here that the 1st phase of training of polling personnel will be started on and from 1st week of April, ’14 in different Sub-division/Blocks of this district and appointment letter for polling personnel will be ready during 28/03/14 to 30/03/14 to dispatch. In this context, you are requested to make necessary arrangement for serviceing of appointment letters to the staff of your good office who will perform poll duty on 12th May, 2014 and to open your office even on holidays with certain number of staff so that such type of appointment letter may be serve to your office as an when required.
