NOTIFICATION
With reference to our earlier notifications in regard to TET, 2017 (Classes I-V) and in partial modification of the eligibility conditions, this is further to notify in terms of the Order of the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal No. 839-SE/EE(P)/10M-6/09(PT-1)(TET) dated 13.11.2017, that the persons enrolled in NCTE/RCI Recognized Institutions and pursuing any of the following Elementary Teacher Training Courses:
- 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education), a course recognized by die Rehabilitation Council of India (R.C.I.)
are eligible to apply for the TET-2017, subject to the fulfilment of other conditions laid down in our earlier notifications.
The aforesaid category of persons only may apply online on and from 11 A.M. of 15/11/2017 to 30/11/2017 in the following websites: (a) www.wbbpe.org and (b) www.wbsed.gov.in by clicking on “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR TET-2017 (PRIMARY) FOR PERSONS PURSUING ELEMENTARY TEACHER TRAINING COURSES”
N.B.: (i) The persons who are pursuing Elementary Teacher Training Courses as per the details above without Registration/ Enrolment Number shall have to submit the same applications mentioning the name of the institution and the session. At the time of downloading the Admit Card Registration/ Enrolment Number must have to be submitted. No Admit Card will be issued without valid Registration/ Enrolment Number.
(ii) The applicants who have already submitted their online applications in response to our earlier notifications regarding TET-2017 and need to correct/ modify the application-data will be provided with Online Edit Option after this process of online application is over, for necessary correction/modification in their respective individual database.
