ORDER
For some time past the purchase of Stationary articles was made by the two Wings of Public Works Department separately for their own use.
The matter of streamlining the process of purchasing of stationary articles was under active consideration of the Government in this Department.
After bringing the two Wings under the same umbrella, it has now been felt to regularise the process of purchasing the stationary articles by one single authority in a simpler way.
After careful consideration of the matter, the Government of this Department has since decided to issue the following directions.
(i) The Stationary articles mentioned in Annexure-I are to be purchased through General Branch of P.W.D entirely by calling Tender, if required, under the head of A/C “2059”; in strict observance of Memo no. 5400-F(Y) dated 25.06.2012 and associated orders of Finance Department.
(ii) The Stationary articles mentioned in Annexure-II are to be purchased through General Branch of P.W.D entirely by calling Tender if required under the head of A/C “3054” in strict observance of Memo no. 5400-F(P) dated 25.06.2012 and associated orders of Finance Department.
(iii) All the purchases are to be looked after/ supervised by the Registrar, Public Works Department.
(iv) All the relevant orders for purchase are to be routed through by the Registrar, Public Works Department.
