In continuation of this Department’s earlier order no. 278/C.S./2M-01/2023 dated. 02.07.2024 read with no. 2871/(8)/PW/O/E-III/1B-01/2024. dated. 24.07.2024 and no. 3422/(8)/PW/O/E-III/1B-01/2024, dated. 10.09.2024, the undersigned would like to inform you that, at present there are 21 (Twenty One) number of Inspection Bungalows under the purview of online booking system. Now, the undersigned is directed to state that, the online booking system of the following 04 (Four) no of Inspection Bungalows will come into effect with the issuance of this order.

In this regard, the following points may be noted
- Booking is to be made only through the authorized website of PWD http://pwdbungalow.wb.gov.in.
- The respective EEs in charge of the bungalows to provide the necessary facilities & services presently available, to the visitors who would be availing the accommodation facility through online booking system.
- Expenditure on account of minor repair/ refurbishment as may be required from time to time will have to be met from the office contingency.
- The customer has to pay the full booking amount at the time of booking through portal in online mode only. There is no provision of offline payment whatsoever.
- The customer opting for online booking system will get an sms confirmation from the system. The customer has to bring the hard copy of booking confirmation slip generated from PWD bungalow booking portal and payment confirmation slip generated from GRIPS and produce the same at the time of check in along with a valid ID proof. The concerned Executive Engineer have to verify the documents with the details available in portal before check in of the customer.
- EEs should ensure that the guests are provided with proper and hygienic food as per their requirement at the bungalow premises. In the absence of a running kitchen within the bungalow, a local arrangement with any SHG or nearby eateries may be made to facilitate the matter.
- In all the bungalows mentioned above, a certain number of rooms will be kept reserved for VIPs/departmental officials/other Govt officials on duty. The table below shows the number of rooms to be kept beyond the purview of online booking system vis a vis the total number of rooms.
