Sub: Introduction of 4 (four) more optional Elective/Addl. subjects duly recommended by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, in addition to approved existing 33 (thirty three) optional Elective subjects under NVEQF programme for Madhyamik Pariksha in West Bengal, 2015.
NOTIFICATION
In terms of Memo No. 3394(2)-SE(S) dated 22.11.2012 of the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal on the subject noted above, the Administrator, W.B.B.S.E. has been pleased to notify for general information that in addition to the existing approved 33 (thirty three) optional Elective subjects, the following 4(four) more Optional Elective /Addl. subjects under NVEQF programme have been approved and recommended by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal for implementation of the scheme in 83 schools for Madhyamik Pariksha in West Bengal, 2015.
The four optional Elective/ Addl. subjects are as follows:
1) Retail Sector
2) Security Sector
3) Automobile Sector
4) IT/IT’es Sector
The course and curriculum of the above four subjects /sectors according to option of the schools have been recommended for implementation of the course in 83 schools.
The course structure (competency based curriculum) with planned instructions consisting of modules/units in each subject of the four in brief is attached herewith in a separate sheet for favour of school authority’s kind perusal and guidance.
The name of the school with address where the name of the course(s) as per option of the school has been recommended for implementation in the respective school is also enclosed alongwith this notification.
