Sub: Reopening of schools under School Education Department
Sir/ Madam,
As you all are aware that Govt./ Govt. aided/ sponsored schools will re-open after summer vacation, with effect from 27/06/2022 maintaining all COVID norms and protocols. You are requested to guide the process closely for smooth reopening of the schools in you District. I would suggest the followings:
A) You are requested to nominate ADM (Education) as Nodal Officer for reopening of the schools in you District. He may be advised to take all necessary measures for smooth reopening of such schools after summer vacation within your District strictly following extant COVID protocol. DIs (SE/PE) concerned have been advised from this end to contact ADM (Education) and remain in touch with your office for immediate further necessary action.
B) Suitable steps be taken immediately for cleanliness of the gchool3 and making them functional by 26th June, 2022 on priority.
C) All Teaching and Non-teaching staff are here by allowed to attend the campus with effect from 25th June, 2022.
D) Hostels may be opened wherever necessary as decided by the concerned Hols, strictly maintaining safety and COVID norms.
E) A ‘COVID-19’ general guidelines on reopening of schools in the form of advisory already circulated to all concern and available on the website of our department, may kindly be referred read with latest guidelines issued by the Health & Family Department, Government of West Bengal.
F) Shri Subhra Chakrabarti, State Project Director, PBSSM and Commissioner of School Education (Mobile No. 9007198960) shall be the Nodal Officer at State level for this purpose. In case of any further clarification, you may get in touch with him at any time.
