State Level National Talent Search Examination, 2015 for students of class X
State level National Talent Search Examination, 2015 for the students of class X will be held on November 2, 2015 (Sunday) in the different centres in the state of West Bengal. The students of class X studying in schools /madrasahs recognised by WBBSE/ WBBME/ Central Board of Secondary Education or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi securing 50% and above marks (40% and above marks for SC/ST candidates) in the previous Annual Examination of class IX, are eligible to appear at the examination. Three categories of physically challenged groups of children (namely hearing ,physically and visually) having valid certificates with 40% and above disability & studying in class X may appear at the State level National Talent Search Examination, 2015. However, their eligibility criteria will be same as respective General/ SC/ ST candidates. There is no income bar in applying for this scholarship. State Government does not charge any fee for the said Examination. Application Forms will be available on the website, www.wbsed.gov.in on and from 07.08.14. On-line submission of applications may be done within 08.09.2014. The same may be printed after filling up and the printed hard copy of the application form duly signed, authenticated and attested along with necessary certificates like SC/ ST/ Disability certificates must be submitted to the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education) concerned by 8th September, 2014. The application may be done by the students individually or from the schools concerned. For the willing students who do not have any access to computers or unable to submit application on-line may contact any offices of the Sub-Inspector of Schools(circle), A.I/S(Sub-Division) or District Inspector of Schools (district) for on-line submission. The students may submit off-line application also within 08.09.2014 with a declaration that the student has not applied on line. The same application format may be downloaded from the website as well as specimen will be available at the Office of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E).
Candidates are requested to visit the website for downloading Admission card ten days before the commencement of the examination. The Admission (Admit) Cards may also be collected by the candidates in person from the office of the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education) of the concerned district.
