In supersession of previous notification no. 3755-BCW Dated 8th November 2013 and in exercise of the power conferred by Section 3 of the West Bengal Right to Public Service Act, 2013 (West Ben. Act XVII of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor is pleased hereby to specify in the following table, with immediate effect, the public authorities mentioned in column (3), (5) and (6) of the said table, for providing the services mentioned in column (2), within the stipulated time limit mentioned in column (4), for the purpose of the said Act:-

Sub-Divisional Officer in cases of Sub-Divisions and District Welfare Officer, BCW, Kolkata in case of Kolkata District.
4 (four) weeks from the date of submission of hard copies of supporting documents in respect of submitted application for Caste Certificate
1) District Magistrate for Districts except Kolkata District.
2) Divisional Commissioner, Presidency Division for Kolkata District
1) Commissioner, BCW&TD Directorate for Districts except Kolkata District.
2) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Secretary of BCW Department for Kolkata District
