Grant of Dearness Allowance to State Government Employees and the employees of Government aided Educational Institutions, employees of Statutory Bodies, Government Undertakings, Panchayats including Panchayat Karmee, Municipal Corporations/ Municipalities, Local Bodies etc. and also Dearness Relief to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of State-aided Non-Government Colleges and also Dearness Relief to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners of State-aided Non-Government Colleges of West Bengal with effect from 01.03.2023.
Governor has been pleased to decide that the State Government employees shall draw Dearness Allowance @ 6% of basic pay w.e.f. 01/03/2023.

Governor has been pleased to raise the Income Ceiling of mother/ father and unmarried/ widowed/ divorced daughter for entitlement of family pension to Rs. 9000/- only per month.
Revision of Pay and Allowance of the employees of the Panchayat Raj Institution of this State following West Bengal Service (Revision of Pay and Allowance) Rules, 2019.
The amount of Pro-rata pension already restored shall be further consolidated w.e.f. 01.01.2020 or from the date on which the amount is restorable whichever is later, by multiplying with 2.57.
