6th Pay Commission
6th Pay Commission, West Bengal was formed to examine the present pay structures, allowances, promotion policies, retiring benefits etc. of employees.
The amount of Pro-rata pension already restored shall be further consolidated w.e.f. 01.01.2020 or from the date on which the amount is restorable whichever is later, by multiplying with 2.57.
Re-employment remuneration shall continue to be fixed as per the procedure laid down in F.D. Memo No. 3951-F dated 27.05.2009 without any deduction on account of IR.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of State-aided Non-Government Colleges and also Dearness Relief to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners of State-aided Non-Government Colleges of West Bengal with effect from 01.03.2023.
Governor is pleased to extend the term of office of the Chairman and the Members of the Sixth Pay Commission, West Bengal for a further period of 06 (six) months with effect from 27.11.2018.
Fixation of remuneration for re-employed and contractually engaged State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners in view of grant of Interim Relief.
Calculation will be on the basis of normal increment allowed in the lower post on 1st July and not on the basis of Band Pay arrived after fixation on promotion.
Governor is pleased to grant an Interim Relief @8% of the Basic Pension with effect from 01.07.2016 to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners of West Bengal.
Grant of Dearness Allowance to the employees of Non-Govt. Educational Institutions and other Govt. Aided/ Sponsored Organizations with effect from 1st January 2021.
Memoranda alongwith a soft copy may be sent to the Member-Secretary, 6th Pay Commission, Bikash Bhavan, 4th Floor, Saltlake, Kolkata-700 091 within 90 (ninety) days.
Governor is pleased to extend the term of Office of the Chairman and other Members of the Sixth Pay Commission, West Bengal for a further period of one year w.e.f. 27.11.2016.
