6th Pay Commission, West Bengal was formed to examine the present pay structures, allowances, promotion policies, retiring benefits etc. of employees.
Regarding Implementation of Government decision on the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission – Revision of Pension/ Family Pension of Pre- 2016 Pensioners/ Family Pensioners.
Basic Pay (Band Pay + Gr. Pay) last drawn by him on the date of superannuation will be revised notionally w.e.f. 01.01.2020 under Rule 7 of WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019 as if he were in service on 01.01.2020.
The existing maximum limit at the enhanced rate of Rs. 12,747/- per month introduced with effect from 01.04.2008 be raised to Rs. 32,760/- only per month.
Governor has been pleased to decide that the State Government employees shall draw Dearness Allowance @ 6% of basic pay w.e.f. 01/03/2023.
Conveyance Allowance to the blind and orthopedically handicapped teaching and non-teaching employees of the Govt-aided-colleges in the State.
Governor is pleased to introduce the revised format of Annexure-I, II, & III annexed herein for smooth functioning of all concerned viz. Pensioners/ Family Pensioners, Pension Sanctioning Authorities and Pension Disbursing Authorities.
Where the serving employees of aided/ sponsored educational institutions are in receipt of Medical Allowance of Rs. 500/- per month w.e.f. 01.01.2020, their retired counterparts (pensioners/ family pensioners) are also entitled to the same.
Calculation of Interim Relief in respect of employees who were promoted on functional or non-functional basis on any date between 02.01.2016 and 01.07.2016.
Fixation of remuneration for re-employed and contractually engaged State Government Pensioners/ Family Pensioners in view of grant of Interim Relief.
