Career Advancement on 15 years and 24 years of Continuous Service
The length of continuous and satisfactory service required for movement to second and third higher Level in relation to the basic Level, shall be reduced from existing 16 years and 25 years to 15 years and 24 years respectively.

Probation Period of Group C Employees will be counted towards MCAS
Governor has been pleased to decide that the period of probation of persons appointed under the West Bengal Services (Appointment, Probation and Absorption of Group C Employees) Rules, 2013 shall count towards Modified Career Advancement Scheme benefit and promotion.
