You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose or mouth.

Precautionary Measures in Correctional Homes due to Corona

(i) To ensure screening of every prisoners during each admission from outside; (ii) To immediate refer to outside Government Hospital in the cases showing any symptom of virus infection; (iii) To keep prisoners who were close proximity of the suspected prisoners with cough and fever, in isolation cell;

Leave at 4 PM due to Threat of Corona Virus (COVID-19)

On and from 19th March 2020 all employees except those working in the departments providing emergency services and those whose services are essentially required by the higher authority, shall be allowed to leave office at 04.00 PM.

Emergency Procurement related to COVID-19 Operation

In view of the urgency involved in the procurement of certain critical medical and other essential supplies in the wake of the present scenario caused by the pandemic, it has now been decided to extend the relaxed procurement guidelines for a period of two (2) months with effect from 01.04.2021 to 31.05.2021.

All the Departments and other establishments shall start functioning with the officers of and above the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent and support staff of Group C and below not exceeding 25% of the existing strength each day with effect from 20th April 2020.
