Facility of using Scribes in D.El.Ed Exam 2013
Allowance of scribes to the examinees of D.El.Ed Part – I and Part – II Examinations, 2013 to be conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
The teacher education programme leading to the Diploma in Elementary Education aims at preparing teachers for the elementary stage of education, i.e., classes I-VIII.

Curriculum and syllabus of the Primary Teachers Training two-year course under the Elementary Teacher Education Programme (NCTE) leading to diploma in education of West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Release all the teachers who have been deputed to undergo the Two year D. El. Ed. Course in the session 2011-2013 in the afternoon on 29.06.2013 so that they are able to join their respective schools in the morning on and from 01.07.2013.
Provided in-service teachers will be allowed ‘A’ category scale of pay from the date of attainment of such qualification of D.El.Ed. However persons already possessing D.El.Ed qualification before their entry as a Pry. School Teacher.
Inservice primary teachers who were appointed after 03.09.2001 or before 31.12.2005 should apply for 2 years D.El.Ed Course in distance mode.
A Candidate applying for admission to the Two Year D. El. Ed. Course in an institution, recognized by the NCTE, and affiliated to the WBBPE should pass the H.S (+2) Examination.
Teachers appointed from 01.01.2006 onwards should possess at least 50% marks in H.S. Examination or equivalent and 2 years Diploma in Teacher Training Course (D. El. Ed.); or should be Graduate from recognised University.
Application forms should be submitted within the stipulated date and time along with a Bank Draft of Rs. 300/- only in favour of WBBPE payable at Kolkata.
Primary school teachers appointed after 03.09.2001 having B. Ed or equivalent qualification should obtain 6 months Special Training to be conducted with the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education.
A teacher appointed prior to 03.09.2001 i.e. the date on which the NCTE Regulations, 2001 came into force will be guided by the prevalent Recruitment Rules of the State Government. Such teachers need not have to upgrade their academic qualifications nor have to acquire teacher training qualification.
