In order to provide some relief and enable labourers to start an alternative business/ self-employment, the Governor is pleased to introduce a new scheme called Samarthan (সমৰ্থন).
Modalities for Deposit of Demonetised Currency by DDO
Modalities regarding deposit of demonetised Rs. 500/- and Rs. 1000/- notes held by DDOs as undisbursed cash/ Permanent Advance and subsequent withdrawal of new legal tender money
DDOs can Deposit and Withdraw Old and New Currencies
8658-Suspense Account-00-102-Suspense Account-Civil-040-Remittance of Specified Bank Notes-Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 since Demonetised-20-Receipt/ Adjustment.
Last Date of Submission of Annual Life Certificate
Last date of submission of life certificate by all categories of pensioners/ Family pensioners is hereby extended from 15th November, 2016 to 15th January, 2017.
Disbursement of Salary of Govt Employees in Cash
To provide adequate liquid cash so that the disbursement of salary to the employees can be made in cash in denomination of Rs. 500/- and below.
Cash Payment of Advance Salary from December, 2016
Governor is pleased to allow to draw part salary/ remuneration or wages in advance against the Salary/ wages of December, 2016 and make cash payment to the employees.
Wages of Tea Garden Workers after Demonetisation
District Magistrates of all the Tea growing Districts of West Bengal are hereby authorised to accept deposit of money by the tea garden owners.
