Governor has been pleased to direct that 20th July 2016 is hereby declared as local holidays and the regular academic and other activities in the schools shall remain closed.
To celebrate the occasion of JAMAI SHASTHI, all office under the control of the Government of West Bengal shall remain closed on the 16th June 2021 (Wednesday).

Offices under the Government of West Bengal will be closed at 2 P.M. on Monday, the 1st day of July, 2019 on account of the Birth Day of Late Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Ex-Chief Minister of West Bengal.
Considering the changed weather conditions, it has been decided that all schools will remain closed upto 08.06.2019 and will open on 10.06.2019. Similar action is recommended for all un-aided schools also.
Due to sad demise of Shri Sadhan Pande, Hon’ble Minister, Government of West Bengal, all Government Offices will be closed on 21.02.2022 from 2.00 p.m. for paying homage and respect to the departed soul of the dignitary.
