Lockdown
Due to COVID-19 pandemic a number of non-pharmaceutical interventions know as lockdowns i.e. stay at home orders, curfews, quarantines, social distancing etc. have been implemented in numerous countries and territories around the world.
Restriction measures stand extended upto 6PM of Wednesday 30th June 2021 according to the provisions of West Bengal Epidemic Disease, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020.
On the occasion of the HOLI FESTIVAL, restrictions relating to movement of people and vehicles between 12 midnight to 5 AM shall be relaxed on the night of 17th March, 2022 so as to enable the celebration of HOLI KA DAHAN.
All government offices related to non-emergency and non-essential services shall now function with 50% of total strength.
All shopping complexes, malls, beauty parlours, cinema halls, restaurants and bars, sports complexes, gyms, spas and swimming pools shall remain closed (even while home deliveries and online services shall remain permitted).
Restrictions relating to movement of people and vehicles between 11 PM to 5 AM shall continue to be in force but shall be relaxed for Christmas and New Year celebrations during 24th December 2021 to 1st January 2022.
Marriage related functions shall be allowed with a maximum of 200 people at a time or 50% seating capacity of the hall/ venue, whichever is lower.

All outdoor activities including movement of people and vehicles shall be strictly prohibited between 11 PM to 5 AM except for health services, law and order, essential commodities including agricultural produce and other emergency services.
Coaching centres for competitive examinations may remain open with 50% of capacity at a time following COVID appropriate protocols and regular sanitization of the centres.
