Madhyamik Pariksha is a 10th standard Examination. Compulsory subjects are First language, Second language, Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics, History and Geography.
Enhancement of rates of remuneration of Head Examiners, Examiners and Scrutineers, as well as fees for PPR/ PPS and introduction of payment of telephone charges in favour of all the Head Examiners.

Control Room is opened from 17.02.2014 at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and it will continue till completion of the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 in the interest of the examinees and common people as well.
1st Summative Evaluation will be held not before 1st April, 2023 and to be completed within 11th April, 2023. 2nd Summative Evaluation will be held not before 1st August, 2023 and to be completed within 8th August, 2023.

Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur is considered equivalent to the Madhyamik Examination conducted by WBBSE.
WBBSE has undertaken to update “School-wise Teachers’ Information” through online. This step is being taken on an urgent basis in view of upcoming Madhyamik Pariksha (SE) 2026.
