Madhyamik Pariksha is a 10th standard Examination. Compulsory subjects are First language, Second language, Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics, History and Geography.
Expert Committee has attempted to redesign the evaluation pattern at the Madhyamik level. There are two premises of evaluation: Internal Formative Evaluation and Summative Evaluation.

Control Room is opened from 17.02.2014 at West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and it will continue till completion of the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 in the interest of the examinees and common people as well.
Fees for Issue of Duplicate Mark sheet, Admit Card, Certificate, Registration Certificates etc. Migration, Transcript, Verification of Results, Date of Birth etc. are revised as per West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (Examination) Regulations, 2001.
Admit Cards of the candidates (Regular & External) appearing at the Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E), 2014 will be distributed through respective Camp offices organized by the Board on 12th February, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Heads of the Institution will be solely responsible for collection and submission of U-DISE DCF and necessary steps will be taken against them for non compliance of the order in time.
