Recruitment rules for various type of Government services (Group A, B, C and D) in West Bengal Government.
This rule shall apply to the recruitment of different categories of Group -D posts, namely peon, orderly peon, Night Guard, Darwan, Farash or other posts.
The interview for Assistant Teacher in primary schools for the year 2009, scheduled to be held from 9th September 2014 to 13th September 2014 is deferred.

The West Bengal Group – D Recruitment Board shall be responsible for selecting and recommending candidates for direct recruitment to group D posts via a transparent mechanism.
Service of existing primary school teachers may be placed in nearby New Set up Upper Primary School to teach class V until and unless the regular teachers are posted in the New Set up Upper Primary Schools.
Selection as Trainee Reserve will be strictly on the basis of merit, i.e. marks obtained in concerned Entrance Examination. Candidates should apply for obtaining No Objection Certificate in the prescribed format enclosed together with this.
