The question of revision of pay scales of Welfare Officer under the Department of Jails has been under active consideration of the Government for some time past.
Remaining 50% of the third instalment of arrear already calculated as per item no. 6 of Memo No. 2728-F, dated 07.04.2009 will be paid to the State Govt employees in September, 2012.
Decentralisation of the work relating to fixation of pay of the officers of the erstwhile West Bengal Junior Audit & Accounts Service which has since been merged with the West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service w.e.f. 01.04.1981.
State Government employee who was posted elsewhere earlier and the Heads of Office has now changed when his pay is going to be revised under West Bengal Services (ROPA) Rules, 2009 may be allowed to exercise option to his present Head of Office.

The officer holding the post of District information & Cultural officer may exercise option to come under ROPA, 2009 on the basis of such notional pay in relaxation of Note-4 below Rule-6 of WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2009.
In order to facilitate the task of pay revision in online mode, the Governor is pleased to allow pay fixation of the Officers of the Judicial Service of West Bengal in HRMS module of WBIFMS.
The Scale of pay of Bengali Translator was revised from Scale No. 10 i.e. Rs. 1390 – 2970/- to Scale No. 12 i.e. Rs. 4800-10925/- w.e.f. 1.1.96 notionally actual benefit from 1.1.2007 vide this Department’s Order No. 548-ICA dt. 27.2.09.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor may be allowed to draw pay in Academic Level 15 w.e.f 01.01.2020 and the pay of the existing Pro-Vice-Chancellors who are in receipt of AGP of Rs. 12,000/- shall be fixed at the appropriate cell of Academic Level 15 by multiplying the existing basic pay (Band Pay + AGP) with the factor 2.57.
