One of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools is that he/ she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).
Applications are invited from TET-2014 Qualified Candidates for the posts of Assistant Teachers under the District Primary School Councils of West Bengal to fill up the vacancy of 41,559 posts.
The online portal(s) for PPS and/or PPR benefits indicated above, shall be open between 03/03/2023 at 05:00 PM to 10/03/2023 at 11:59 PM and upon online payment of a fee of Rs. 1,000/-.
Notification for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), 2017 for Classes I-V, to be conducted by West Bengal Board of Primary Education as per the NCTE guidelines.
Such candidates should be allowed extra compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour who are making use of the scribe/ reader. All such candidates should have duly certified disability of 40% or more.
All intending eligible CTET pass candidates who aspire to be considered in the 2022 Recruitment process are requested to submit the documents from 13.01.2023 to 20.01.2023 between 10:30 AM till 05:30 PM at the Board’s office.
Online application for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), 2017 (Primary) for Classes I-V will commence from 10.10.2017 to 29.10.2017 at www.wbbpe.org and www.wbsed.gov.in
Information and Guidelines for TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST-2022 (TET-2022) (For Classes I-V, Primary) Date of Exam – 11/12/2022 (Sunday) Time 12:00 noon – 2:30 p.m. To be conducted by: West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Candidates who had scored 82 marks in TET-2014 and have been declared TET qualified are instructed to submit the following documents along with applications to the office of the Board within 21.11.2022.
