Sub: Suspension of classes due to heat wave

Sir/ Madam,

Due to extreme hot weather conditions prevailing in the State it has been decided that classes will remain suspended in all Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Government aided schools (Primary to Higher Secondary) from 20th June, 2018 to 30th June, 2018.

You are requested to advise all schools under your respective control accordingly. You are also requested to recommend similar action to all unaided schools under your control.

This may please be treated as urgent.

Sub: Closure Suspension of schools in West Bengal due to adverse weather condition.

Sir,

Due to extreme hot weather condition prevailing in the State, it has been decided to keep classes suspended in Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Government Aided schools in West Bengal for the period from 20th June to 30th June, 2018.

In view of the prevailing weather condition, you may also consider taking similar action for all schools affiliated to your organization and located within the territorial jurisdiction of West Bengal.
