To: The Heads of all recognised Madrasahs (Govt., Non Govt. aided and un-aided), Shishu Siksha Kendra, Madrasah Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra (Senior Madrasah Type) located in the districts of Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly and Kolkata.
In compliance with the order of the Principal Secretary, Minority Affairs & Madrasah Education Department, Government of West Bengal, vide No. 881-MD dated: 02.05.2019 (copy enclosed), this is notified that in view of severe cyclonic storm “Fani” approaching the coastal districts of West Bengal, which is expected to bring very heavy rainfall and high speed wind on 3rd and 4th May, 2019 and to ensure the safety of the student and others, all recognised Madrasahs (Govt., Non Govt. aided and unaided), Shishu Siksha Kendra, Madrasah Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra (Senior Madrasah Type) located in the districts of Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly and Kolkata shall remain closed on Friday, the 3rd May, 2019 and Saturday, the 4th May, 2019.
The authorities of all recognised Madrasahs (Govt., Non Govt. aided and un-aided), Shishu Siksha Kendra, Madrasah Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra (Senior Madrasah Type) located in the above mentioned districts are advised to comply with the order accordingly.

ORDER
In view of severe cyclonic storm “Fani” approaching the coastal districts of West Bengal, which is expected to bring very heavy rainfall and high speed wind on 3rd and 4th May, 2019, it is hereby ordered that to ensure the safety of the students and others, all Government and Non-Government aided-Madrasahs located in Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly and Kolkata shall remain closed on Friday, the 3rd May, 2019 and Saturday, the 4th May, 2019.
The authorities of the unaided Madrasahs, Shishu Siksha Kendra, Madrasah Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra, Madhyamik Siksha Kendra (Sr. Madrasah type) located in the above mentioned districts may be advised to keep their institutions closed on those two days.
