    For information. Although no notification regarding 2016-17 GPF interest is yet issued by Finance Dept. W.B., AG has calculated interest @ 8.1% for a retired employee citing Central Finance order and asked to deposit him the extra amount which was earlier paid to him @ 8.7% as per calculation of AG.

    01.04.2017 to 30.06.2017 = 7.9 %
    01-07-2017 to 30.09.17 = 7.8 %
    01-10-2017 to 31/12/2017=7.8%
    01-01-2018 t0 31-03-2018 = 7.6 %
