As per the G.O. No. 490-SE(S)/2P-01/2009, dated the 11th May, 2009 there is a lock-in period of 3 years for pursuance of B.Ed. course through correspondence/ ODL mode.
Pls see the G.O. Nos. 490 and 982 from the following link: Signing of Bond before going for B. Ed. Training from School

    “…this is a continuation of Mr. Polo’s post” (which I agree 100%)
    Few words out of track
In practical field for regular B.Ed course the rule is flexible and depends upon the School, I just manage a page from manual to highlight this, acc. to me if this is applicable for regular case then might be applicable for ODL case. “Rule is one hand and reality is the other hand”
    thanks.

    Dear Ram Prasadbabu,
I think that it is NOT necessary to detain a B.Ed. qualified teacher for 3/5yrs in the school if he/she wants to change school. Pls see the discussions on 06 Nov. in the following thread: Mutual Transfer Problems – Need Clarifications
