In west Bengal most of the Primary Schools are IV units (Class-i to IV) . 2 To 4% Schools are V units ( Class- I to V)
Called Junior Basic School. As per Govt. Rules Teacher Students Ratio at present 1 : 30 . It is applicable either the Primary Schools Or Junior Basic Schools. i,e. either 4 (four) units or 5 (five) units. Class – v is upper class of the J.B. Schools. Teachers are facing some problems to run those schools smoothly due to insufficient teachers. But Junior High or High or H.S. Schools are running with sufficient Stuff. as a result those schools are able to give better quality education in class – V.than J.B.Schools. That is why their Parents are not interested to keep their children in J.B. schools in Class – V.
I think it will be solve if Honorable Govt. allow one additional Teacher or any other alternative to those 5 unit Schools i.e. Junior Basic Schools. What is your opinion? Now I am awaiting for your valuable comments.
In my opinion the students should go to High school from class V and the primary level should be upto class IV. No need to keep the Junior High. Its just my opinion, so dont take it otherwise please.
Dear somnath,
As a guardian I can do it easily but as a Head Teacher what can I do? I am not the authority to abolish Class-v from Junior Basic School. I think your suggestion is not a Permanent solution. I am Head Teacher of a J.B. School so that I am facing more Problems time to time about it.Please give another way to solve the problem my dear friend.
Tender my love.
I can feel your problem dear friend. My opinion could be a permanent solution of the problem when you are asking the Govt to look into the matter. From your part you can ask for an additional teacher or whatever needful to run the class smoothly. Actually I expressed my opinion to make the education system uniform. Hope you will not mind it and your love is exigent to me. Regards.
